Our Sponsored Children through Christian Children's Fund of Canada

A - Class Nannies & Caregivers Inc. in conjunction with CareBuddies and our loyal and supportive families-clients have sponsored children through Christian Children's Fund of Canada.

We have two children that we are currently, 4 year old Lamirot Dereje Anbesu, from Ethiopia and 8 years old Sylvie Nikiema, from Burkina Faso, both in Africa.

We are proud supporters of the Christian Children's Fund of Canada. We encourage everyone to support and make a change to better other people's lives, especially the children. The children are the most vulnerable in countries such as Ethiopia and Burkina Faso. They need our help for them to survive. If one person helps another we hope to achieve that through this simple kindness we can provide these children with hope in life. Let us make a difference. Let us make our world a better place to live in, especially for our children and the children of the world. Together we can make a difference!

Please find below photos of Lamirot Dereje Anbesu and Sylvie Nikiema.

Hi everyone, we would like you to meet SYLVIE NIKIEMA, from Burkina Faso, Africa. She is 8 years old.

She was born on December 3, 1997. She lives with her parents and 3 other siblings (1 brother and 2 sisters). She is now in Grade 3 and her favorite subjects are writing and math. She loves playing hopscotch and skipping rope. Sylvie is a responsible child, at her age she knows how to help out at home. She washes the dishes or sweeps the yard.

Her mother is an unemployed homemaker and her father is a farmer. Due to desertification,  majority of farmers' livelihood has been destroyed and her father can not tend the land. This has forced many families into poverty, including Silvie's. There are times that her family do not have enough food to last a week.

Through our consolidated efforts, we can help her family and others. Your support will give this child and the others a proper education, medical care, clothing and nutritional support. A small gift but would make a big difference.

Meet our second sponsored child, 4 years old Lamirot Dereje Anbesu. She is an only child and currently in preschool. She was born on September 17, 2001, in Ethiopia, and at the age of four, is already helping parents with the household chores -- run errands and fetch water.

She lives with both her parents -- father who is a daily labourer and mother who is an embroiderer. She loves role playing with friends.

Family background: Her Orthodox family comes from the Oromo ethnic group and struggles daily to make ends meet. They speak two languages: Amharic and Oromiffa. They live well below the poverty line. Her father's work is very inconsistent.
